Ashley and Bryce had reached out to me about 2 months before their September wedding, and told me they were still looking for a photographer. We hopped on a call shortly after, and we instantly clicked.
As I showed up to their venue, the Overlook Barn, tucked away in the Blue Ridge Mountains, I was immediately greeted with warmth and joy from Ashley and Bryce! Throughout the entire morning, as Ashley and her girls got ready, and Bryce and his boys jammed out in the groomsmen suite, we closely watched the forecast. For weeks, heavy rainfall had been expected. Right before the ceremony, a dark storm cloud rolled in, casting a shadow over the ceremony space. As the wedding party began walking out, the sun peaked out between the clouds, creating the most beautiful warm glow.
Immediately after the ceremony, it started pouring, casting the most perfect rainbow across the sky. The beautiful picture God had painted over the mountains was a reflection of His providence over the entire day.
Ashley and Bryce spent the rest of the night dancing and laughing with their loved ones. Watching the joy in their eyes as they shared their last dance to close out the night reminded me why I love capturing love stories like theirs.
